The plural form is also 'ore' (not 'ores'). Norway discontinued the ore as a physical coin in 2012, Sweden in 2010, and Denmark in 2008, but prices are still sometimes given in ore as an accounting unit. Distinguish from sense 1: this is a currency subunit, not a mineral.
